Kalter Hund

when David´s birthday arrived I wanted to make a cake for him, not so easy without an oven but luckily there is one typical Eastern German cake which David usually got of his parents named "Kalter Hund" (cold dog). So it was up to me! And I just can say it is very tasty, though we do not have a fridge we had to eat it fast because of the fresh eggs but this was not a problem :)

  • 180 Gramm powdered sugar

  • 180 Gramm Kakaopowder or more :)

  • 6 EL milk

  • 3 fresh eggs (biological)

  • 375 Gramm coconut oil (z. B. Palmin)

  • 3 p  Vanille sugar

  • around 40 butter biscuits or other biscuits you like

  • and some good Coffe (mocca)

  • Maybe some nice sweet liquor

Mix the powdered sugar, cocoa powder , milk and eggs . Add the warm melted coconut oil gradually while stirring. Then add the vanille sugar and if you like some liquor.

Then make some coffe.

Dip the butter biscuits shortly into the coffe so that it absorbs the liquid.

You need a form or plate for the cake. Just be creative, you can give it a lot of different forms!

Then you make different layers of biscuits and over it you put the cacao mass and so on.... until all has been consumed. Put it in the fridge so that it gets hard.
