Jasmine syrup

One cup of flowers

One cup of bruin sugar

2cups of water

2 lemons
Put the jasmine flowers in the water and add two lemons without skin and blend it. Leave it overnight in the water.
Bring water to a boil, then add sugar. Mix until all the sugar has dissolved. Turn heat off and allow to steep for 2 to 3 hours. Place a sieve over a bowl and drain liquid. Discard flowers and place the syrup in an airtight bottle.
This fragrant syrup can be added to hot tea, iced tea, or in any other recipe that asks for syrup!
It is very tasty and of course you can make syrup of all kinds of flowers or also herbs….
We will also try to make one with lavender, mint or ….
One which unfortunately does not grow here is elderflowers, but it is really tasty! so give it a try
